1. The broker shall be entitled to receive a fee only from the party to the transaction who has delegated him. 2. Where the broker has been delegated to by both parties, each of them shall be severally liable to the broker for payment of the fee due to him, even if they had agreed that either party will bear the broker's fee in full.
