The leased property is a trust held by the lessee, who shall be liable for any deficiency, damage, or loss resulting from a cause attributable thereto, and they shall preserve it with the care of an ordinary person. 2. If there are multiple lessees, each shall be liable for damages arising from their own act, unless the law provides otherwise.
