1. Rent shall become due upon enjoyment of the usufruct or upon the ability to enjoy it. 2. If the contract does not specify a time for payment of the rent, the rent specified for the usufruct shall be due absolutely after the enjoyment of the usufruct or after the realization of the ability to enjoy it. 3. The rent due for a time unit shall follow the custom regarding its payment dates; otherwise, the court shall determine them at the request of the interested party.
