1. The donor may recover the gifted property if they have stipulated in the contract that such recovery shall occur in the event the donee fails to fulfill certain obligations for the benefit of the donor or someone they care about. 2. If the gifted property has perished or the donee has disposed thereof, the donor is entitled to its value at the time of the disposition or perishment.
