1. The following conditions shall be met for a Salam sale to be valid: a. The subject matter of the sale shall be of property that can be specified by description and quantity, and that is usually available at the time of delivery. b. The contract shall include a statement of the genus, type, quality, quantity, and the time of delivery of the subject matter of the sale. 2. The Salam capital (the price) shall be known to the contracting parties, and payment shall be made at the time of contracting.
