1. If a contracting party falls into an essential mistake, they may request the annulment of the contract if the other contracting party has fallen into the same mistake, or was aware thereof, or could easily have detected it. 2. In contracts of donation, the annulment of the contract may be requested without regard to the other contracting party’s knowledge of or participation in the mistake.
