1. The court, after conducting the necessary investigation, may authorize the prodigal or the person of diminished judgement to administer all or part of their property, with an unrestricted or restricted authorization as it deems appropriate. It may also require the prodigal to render an account of their administration at the times it specifies. 2. The court may rescind or revoke the authorization for administration if it deems it necessary.
