1. The usufructuary shall, during their usufruct, bear all ordinary charges imposed on the subject to usufruct and the expenses required for its maintenance works, unless otherwise agreed. 2. Extraordinary expenses required for the repair of major damage not arising from the fault of the usufructuary shall be borne by the owner. If the usufructuary is the one who incurred such expenses, they may recover them upon termination of the usufruct, unless otherwise agreed.
