Part Twelve: Methods of Challenging Judgments · Chapter Two: Appeal

1. Other than the situations excluded under a provision of the law, the litigants may appeal the rulings and judgments of the court of first instance before the competent court of appeal. 2. Judgments rendered by the court of appeal shall be final and unchallengeable by way of cassation, in the event that the value of the legal proceeding does not exceed AED [500,000] five hundred thousand dirhams.
