Article 189 — Article (189) Termination of Bankruptcy Proceeding due to Extinguishment of Creditors' Interest

Part Three: Declaration of Bankruptcy · Chapter Ten: Closure and Termination of Bankruptcy Proceeding

The bankruptcy court may decide, after the final list of creditors is announced as described herein, and upon motion of the insolvent debtor or the Trustee, that the bankruptcy proceeding be terminated, if either of the following conditions is satisfied: 1. Where all debts of the creditor that are included in the final list of creditors have been settled; or 2. Where a sum of money or a bank guarantee is furnished and is sufficient to pay off the creditor's debts.
