Article 45 — Article (45) Termination of the Arbitral Proceedings

Chapter Five: Arbitral Award

1. The arbitral proceedings shall be terminated by rendering the final award ending the dispute by the Arbitral Tribunal. 2. The Arbitral Tribunal shall terminate the proceedings in any of the following cases: a. If the parties agree to terminate the arbitral proceedings in accordance with the provisions of this Law; b. If the Claimant abandons the arbitration case, unless the Arbitral Tribunal decides, upon the Respondent's request, that the latter has a genuine interest in the continuation of the arbitral proceedings until the dispute is decided on; or c. In case the Arbitral Tribunal, for any other reason, comes to the conclusion that it is of no use or impossible to continue the arbitral proceedings.
