After at least one continuous year, gratuity is due regardless of termination reason: 21 days' Basic Wage for each of the first five years and 30 days for each later year, pro-rated for part years. Basic Wage is taken at termination, divided by 365 daily and may not be below 50% of Wages. Debts may be deducted and a written pension or savings option may replace gratuity by written Employee choice.
