Applies to user porting of fixed and mobile numbers between operators licensed in Oman and to those operators' obligations within the central portability system.
Limitations and exclusions
Does not govern the issue of new numbers, allocation of numbering resources, spectrum rights or the underlying service contract beyond portability matters. It repeals the former number-retention rules in Decision 5/2008 and any provision inconsistent with the new Regulation.
