After four years or proof of death, the date of disappearance is treated as the service-termination date for pension assessment.

Applies to
Applies to an insured person or pensioner under the Social Protection Law whose whereabouts and life or death cannot be established, and to the person's beneficiaries and employer.
Limitations and exclusions
Is not a judicial declaration of death and does not replace succession proceedings, criminal investigation, family law or other conditions for insurance benefits.
