Scope and exclusions

Applies to persons and operations within the scope of Living Aquatic Resources Law 20/2019. Regulated persons receive one year from commencement to regularise their position; existing licences continue until expiry and are then renewed under the new Regulation.
Limitations and exclusions
Does not automatically govern every food, maritime or environmental activity outside the statutory living-aquatic-resources perimeter and does not replace requirements of other competent authorities. The Decision repeals fourteen listed earlier fisheries regulations, but a specific operation must be checked against the Law itself, all 16 annexes and later special decisions.
