Community service is to obligate the convict to perform community service work, as specified by a Cabinet resolution, in any of the institutions or establishments which are designated by a resolution issued by the Minister of Justice in coordination with the competent entities, or by a decision issued by the head of the local judicial authority. Community service shall not be adjudged, except in penalties for misdemeanours and in lieu of the penalty of incarceration that does not exceed six months or the penalty of fine, provided that the period of community service shall not exceed (3) three months.
