A criminal case may not be filed concerning the acts stipulated in Articles (252), (253), and (254) of this Law except based on a complaint from the person concerned. The criminal case shall expire if the waiver is made after the crime has occurred and before a final judgment is issued. If the waiver is made after the judgment has become final, its execution shall be suspended.
