Article 79 — Article (79) Duplicate Prescription Dispensing

Part Six: Regulating the Practice of Pharmacy

The Pharmacist may not repeat the dispensing of a medical prescription that contains controlled or semi-controlled substances that have the property of accumulating in the body, or that lead to habituation to their use or addiction, unless the issuing party indicates that the prescription has been repeated, within the limits of the types of products for which a decision is issued by the BOD.
