Whoever disseminates information or data on the information network or any ITE which include offending of foreign countries shall be punished with imprisonment for at least (6) six months and/ or a fine of not less than (AED 100,000) one hundred thousand dirhams or more than (AED 500,000) five hundred thousand dirhams. In respect of the crimes set out in this Article, the legal proceedings shall be instituted only by the Attorney General of the UAE.
