Article 10 — Article (10) Circumventing the Information Network with the Intention of Committing a Crime

Chapter One: Crimes Against Information Technology

Any person who circumvents the protocol address of an information network by using an address belonging to another person, or by any other means, with the intent to commit a crime or to prevent its detection, shall be punished by temporary imprisonment and a fine of not less than AED 500,000 (five hundred thousand dirhams) and not exceeding AED 2,000,000 (two million dirhams), or by either of these two sanctions.
