The Judicial Police Officers shall include the following persons within the areas of their competences: 1. Members of the Public Prosecution; 2. Officers, non-commissioned officers and personnel of the police force; 3. Officers, non-commissioned officers and members of border and coast guards; 4. Officers, non-commissioned officers and members functioning at the State's sea, air and land ports, including policemen or armed forces personnel; 5. Officers and non-commissioned officers of civil defense; and 6. The employees vested with the authority of Judicial Police Officers by virtue of the applicable laws, decrees and resolutions.
