A penalty of life or temporary imprisonment shall be imposed on anyone who commits theft in a public road or in any of the land, sea or air means of transportation, in any of the following cases: 1. If the act is committed by two or more persons, among whom one is carrying weapons. 2. If the act is committed forcibly by two or more persons. 3. If the act is committed at night by one person carrying weapons. 4. If the act is committed by one person carrying weapons by way of coercion or threat to use weapons.
