An infraction is any act or omission punishable under the laws or regulations, by one or both of the two following penalties: 1. Custody for not less than twenty-four hours and not more than (10) ten days. Such custody shall be performed by confining the convict in one of the places designated for that purpose. 2. A fine not exceeding (10,000) ten thousand AED.
