1. The drawee may request that the bill of exchange be re-presented for acceptance on the next day following the first presentation; however, persons concerned may not allege that such request was rejected, unless it has been mentioned in protest. 2. The bearer of a bill of exchange presented for acceptance shall not be bound to surrender it to the drawee.
