Article 56 — Article (56) Assignment of Equity Stakes

Part Two: Partnerships · Chapter One: General Partnership

1. Equity stakes may only be transferred in a General Partnership with the consent of all the partners, subject to the conditions set out in the MOA of the Company. The assignee shall become a partner in the Company after the assignment is registered with the Competent Authority and the Registrar is notified of the same. 2. Any agreement that permits an unrestricted assignment of equity stakes shall be null and void. However, a partner may assign to any third party the rights relating to his equity stake in the Company. Such agreement shall legal effect only between the contracting parties.
