Book Two: Nominate Contracts · Section Five: Suretyship Contract · Chapter One: General Provisions

1. A suretyship by a person suffering from a terminal illness shall not be permissible if they are indebted by a debt exhausting their entire property. 2. A suretyship by a person suffering from a terminal illness shall not be permissible if their debt does not exhaust their property, and the provisions governing wills shall apply thereto.
