1. A competition is a contract whereby a person undertakes to offer a prize to whoever wins a race in which winning depends on the performance of the competitor. 2. It is valid in a competition for the commitment to the prize to be from some of the competitors or from a third party. It is not valid if it is from all competitors. 3. If the competition is between two teams, each team shall be considered as a single person in the commitment to the prize. 4. Any agreement on gambling or wagering shall be void.
