1. The donor may revoke the gift before taking possession thereof without the donee's consent. 2. The donor may revoke the gift after taking possession thereof with the donee's consent. If the donee does not consent, the donor may request the court to authorize the revocation if based on an acceptable excuse and no impediment to revocation exists.
