1. Co-owners of an immovable property, if they divide it, shall have a privilege on it as security for the right of recourse of any of them against the others for the right conferred by the partition to claim its equalization payment. 2. The privilege referred to in Paragraph (1) of this Article shall be registered, and its rank shall run from the date of its registration.
