1. Where there is joint ownership of a property divided into floors or apartments, the owners may form an association among themselves to manage it and ensure its proper use. 2. The purpose of forming the association may be to construct or purchase properties and distribute ownership of their parts to its members. 3. The association, in its formation, system, management, powers, and matters related thereto, shall be subject to the provisions of the relevant special legislation.
