Part Twelve: Methods of Challenging Judgments · Chapter Two: Appeal

1. Appealing the judgment rendered on a alternative claim shall inevitably entail appealing the judgment rendered on the original claim. In which case, the prevailing party of the original claim shall be sued, even after the time limit for appeal has expired. 2. If the court of appeal sets aside the judgment rendered on the original claim, it shall remand the case to the court of first instance for the latter to decide on the alternative claim.
