Until the cause is removed and a further decision is issued, prohibits imports of species in chapter 2.2.3 of the WOAH Manual and their products, derivatives and waste from South Gyeongsang, Republic of Korea. Made under the Veterinary Quarantine Law 45/2004, its Executive Regulation 107/2008, the competent veterinary authority's recommendation and the public interest. The Decision is published in the Official Gazette and applies from the day following publication.

Scope and exclusions

Applies to

Species in chapter 2.2.3 of the WOAH Manual and related products, derivatives and waste from South Gyeongsang.

Limitations and exclusions

Does not cover products, derivatives and waste treated or heat-processed in accordance with the WOAH Aquatic Animal Health Code. It does not replace other sanitary, veterinary, customs, permit or documentary requirements; later decisions require separate review.
