Scope and exclusions

The product and territorial scope is confined to the stated categories and locations: Tuscany in Italy; Mariagerfjord Municipality in Denmark; the Pomeranian and Lodz Voivodeships in Poland; and the Scottish Borders in the United Kingdom. The stated legal basis is the Veterinary Quarantine Law 45/2004, its Executive Regulation 107/2008 and a recommendation of the competent veterinary authority.
Limitations and exclusions
Products, derivatives and waste treated or heat-processed in accordance with the applicable WOAH sanitary code are excluded. The decision does not displace permits, certificates, food-safety controls, customs or other import requirements; later bans and revocations must be checked separately.
