Scope and exclusions
Applies to
The lifting measure is limited to the territories and earlier decisions expressly named in the instrument: the provinces of Antwerp and Limburg and the Walloon Region in Belgium; and the Province of North Holland in the Netherlands. The stated legal basis is the Veterinary Quarantine Law 45/2004, its Executive Regulation 107/2008 and a recommendation of the competent veterinary authority.
Limitations and exclusions
It is not a general authorisation for poultry imports from the relevant country and does not remove bans affecting other territories, veterinary certificates, prior permits, food-safety, customs or other requirements. A later re-imposition of the ban must be checked.
