Chapter Three: Persons · Part Two: Legal Persons

A legal person shall have: 1. An independent financial patrimony. 2. Legal capacity within the limits designated by its instrument of establishment or as prescribed by law. 3. The right to litigate. 4. An independent domicile. The domicile of a legal person shall be deemed to be the place where its management center is located. As for legal persons whose principal center is abroad and which have an activity in the United Arab Emirates, their management center shall, for the purposes of the law of the United Arab Emirates, be considered the place where the local management is located. 5. A representative to express its will.
